On The Throttle was founded by three young guns with all the gear and no idea…
The team includes Andy McSweeney, the pilot who loves first gear wheelies at Snetterton.
Aaron Hastings who thinks he’s the trackday hero and Kieran Tonks known as ‘The Sensible One’.

On the Throttle (formerly know as 1 Down 5 Up) was originally a group on Facebook created by Aaron and Andy, arranging
ride-outs with motorcyclists in the local area. It evolved into a Facebook page where it recieved lots of positive feedback from the people who had liked the page and the content which was being posted. Andy and Aaron decided it was time to create an event in the local are called ‘The Great Yarmouth Motorcycle Takeover’. This turned out to be a massive event for the most popular coastal town in East Anglia, with thousands of bikers attending from all over the country.

After the second year of the event being so successful they decided it was time to re-brand the page to ‘On The Throttle’.
This is when Kieran jumped on board and helped with the re-branding providing new ideas and creative design along with some help from the rest of the team.
